Please read these Terms carefully before applying. By submitting an application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Benefits are limited and awarded based on eligibility.

Eligibility

  • Meet all admission requirements for an Eligible Program at Texas State University.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Have not previously received this Program benefit.
  • Receive a non-transferable email/SMS invitation from Texas State University or Risepoint with terms and conditions linked to this web page.
  • Complete and submit the application by: August 5, 2026.

Selection & Notification

  • This application fee waiver is available only to qualified undergraduate and graduate applicants who have had a documented, two-way interaction with a member of the Risepoint enrollment team on behalf of Texas State University between July 1, 2026 and July 30, 2026. Qualifying interactions may include a phone conversation, email or text-message exchange, completed appointment, or other direct communication regarding the applicant’s interest in an eligible program. Eligibility will be determined based on the University’s enrollment records.
  • Recipients must apply to an Eligible Program and term to receive the full benefit.
  • Benefits are non-transferable and may not be substituted for cash.

Program Benefit Details

  • Eligible applicants receive a waiver of the $50 for undergraduate programs (bachelor’s), $75 for graduate programs (master’s or doctoral), $20 for certificate programs, $55 for Post-Master’s Principal Certification application fee upon submission.
